PADSTOW AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS

The historic harbour town of Padstow is a delight with its fleet of fishing vessels, colourful buildings and narrow streets. The wealth of Inns and Restaurants nestle the harbour side offer something to suit all tastes, ranging from the traditional fish and chips whilst meandering around the quay to Rick Steins internationally renowned Seafood Restaurant. There is also a variety of speedboat rides and more leisurely boat trips available from the quayside and a passenger ferry runs regularly between Rock and Padstow throughout the year. Padstow is famous for its Mayday festival celebrating the arrival of summer at the beginning of May. If you come to Padstow to enjoy the celebrations you will see the red and blue Obby Oss dancing through the streets of Padstow to the music of accordions and drums.
